Genome analysis
Our team is interested in the structure and evolution of genomes. Our research seeks to understand how DNA metabolism (replication, recombination, repair, transposition) and the regulation of gene expression (chromatin structure) act over time on the sequence, organization and dynamics of genomes. We are also interested in the multiple cellular roles of non-coding RNA.
We are also involved in the following genomic activities :
- Scientific direction of the ImaGif platform for high throughput sequencing : IMAGIF.
- Annotation of genomes and development of public databases such as the Paramecium genome database, ParameciumDB.
